Customs categorization
Based on the recommendations of the World Customs Organization, and which demonstrated successful experiences in some developed countries, customs categorization was launched by the government in Morocco in 2008 to support domestic enterprises.
Based on an individualized approach, customs categorization distinguishes two types of accreditation "A" and "B". The facilities provided within this framework are granted according to the classification made by the ad hoc committee set up for that purpose. To benefit from its status as a categorized enterprise, COLORADO submitted an application to the Customs Services, and has undergone, as required by the procedure, a preliminary audit carried out by an independent office. By the end of 2012, this process resulted in the categorization of COLORADO Company in category "A" with Customs.
